Elkem Silicones recently announced the appointment of Silstar as its new exclusive agent and distributor for South Africa and neighboring countries. The two sides agreed to join hands to enter markets in South Africa and neighboring countries, including Namibia, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Mauritius, Lesotho, Botswana, Madagascar, Angola, Zambia and Tanzania.

With 15 years of experience, Silstar will help Elkem Silicones effectively navigate the local market, build and improve regional distribution and logistics systems, ensuring efficient supply-demand matching. The Silstar team will offer Elkem Silicones’ customers one-stop services, including sampling, industrial trials, order placement and after-sales support.
